Riding Lessons
At Ippikos we teach both dressage and showjumping disciplines. Our experienced trainers are teaching riders everything from the basic leisure riding to the advanced levels of sports horse riding. Riding lessons are scheduled everyday throughout the week with the exception of Monday. For riding lesson bookings you can always contact us.
Horse Riding Trekking
Its great to ride in Crete, as one gets to ride on contrasting sceneries. A trek can start from galloping at the sandy beach, go on to the traditional Cretan villages and end by riding at the rocky mountains. The Ippikos horses are very easy going, making the trek more easy and enjoyable for the rider. Riding treks are done daily all year round except Monday. Livery Services
As horse friendly riding club that we are, we would be happy to welcome your horse to join us and stay in our stables. Boxes are spacious and comfortable, they are equipped with automated watering systems and double securing doors.
Depending on your special and your horses needs, we can provide you a wide range of additional services, such as: walking, longing, riding, warm up and cool down, covering, shoeing, etc. Please contact us for more info on livery services.
Therapeutic Riding
Riding for the mentally and physically challenged people can be healing in many ways. At Ippikos Riding Club we provide therapeutic riding for adults and children. Therapeutic Riding sessions are usually scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Ippikos is cooperating with Therapeutic Holidays Centre, and provides holidays with therapeutic riding for people with special needs.
